Higher School of Management and Technology of the Gorky Automobile Plant (GAZ) (AVSh) is the prize-winner of the Nizhny Novgorod prize in education.
It was established in 1995 in accordance with an agreement between NNSTU and Open Joint-Stock Company GAZ to train the highly qualified personnel for the Automobile plant.
The Higher School of Management and Technology of the Gorky Automobile Plant (GAZ) (AVSh) has the full-time and part-time modes of study. The AVSh students became the prize-winners of the international, All-Russian, regional and NNSTU's contests. The best students have been sent for in-depth training in the companies and at the universities of USA, Sweden and UK.
The Higher School of Management and Technology of the Gorky Automobile Plant (GAZ) (AVSh) participates in the three international programs of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. Its activities were supported by the Russian Association of Engineering Education. The AVSh students have won in the regional contest of KVN (Club of the Cheerful and Sharp-witted) teams and in the different sporting events (the AVSh has its own stadium, sports base, a gym, sauna and water pool).
The administration of the Gorky Automobile Plant supports students by paying 60 scholarships.
Having graduated from AVSh the specialists do not care about job search as the Automobile Plant guarantees employment for each graduate.
